Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Abbelo LLC collects, uses, and shares personal data. Required fields are marked in the app; other details are optional.

We collect your email, account and profile details, settings, messages, files, images, Notes, and goals. Sign-in providers such as Google may supply your name and email address.

We save your messages and Abbelo's replies. We also keep saved work, Guide sources and versions, access and progress records, friend requests, and payment and security records. Relevant saved context helps answer later requests. Retention rules below also apply to older records.

We may collect your IP address, browser or app type, language, referring page, and pages visited to identify errors, prevent abuse, and improve Abbelo. Browser storage keeps you signed in and remembers settings; clearing it may reset those preferences or require another sign-in.

We use data to run the features you choose, answer requests, save work, manage access and payments, provide support, fix problems, and protect and improve Abbelo. We do not use it for unrelated advertising or build profiles to sell.

OpenRouter and the selected model provider process your message and the context needed to answer it, which may include saved work, selected Guides, and files you ask us to use. For voice, OpenAI through OpenRouter processes your audio into text. ElevenLabs through OpenRouter receives reply text to generate AI speech and may retain the text and audio in its generation history.

Stripe handles card payments. Abbelo saves payment reference numbers and your chosen plan or Guide. We also keep payment status, sales, and earnings records. We do not store your full card number. Creators provide identity and bank details directly to Stripe for payouts. We retain the linked Stripe account and its status.

Guide creators do not receive your private chats, Notes, goals, or work just because you use their Guide. A friend request and your public profile card are visible to its recipient; the request and its outcome are private from other users. Published Guides and shared work are visible to people you give access to. In Teams, members can choose to share a Goal summary or specific text with their team leaders. The team’s goal is visible to its members. Membership does not share your private chats, Guide work, files or Wiki. You can stop sharing through Settings. Stopping access cannot undo information a leader has already seen.

Guide improvement summaries are not active. If introduced, creators would receive only group summaries with identifying details removed, never individual conversations, files, goals, or work. We would withhold summaries that could identify someone. Before launch, we will explain the data used and your choices, give notice, and obtain consent where required.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Providers receive only the data needed for hosting, sign-in, AI, payments, error monitoring, and security. We may disclose data to comply with law or valid legal orders, enforce our terms, investigate abuse, or protect people. Data may transfer in a merger or acquisition and remains protected by this policy.

We keep data as needed to provide and protect Abbelo, depending on its type and purpose. Legal, fraud-prevention, payment, or dispute records may remain after account deletion. Deleted data may remain in backups for a limited time.

Edit your profile and settings in the app. To request access, a copy, correction, or deletion of your data, email support@abbelo.com. Depending on your location, including the EU, UK, or California, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing. We respond within applicable legal deadlines. Delete account in Settings stops subscription renewals and removes private data after confirmation. We may require identity verification. Published Guide editions needed by other members and required payment records may remain. For deletion help, email hello@abbelo.com.

Data may be stored or processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Their privacy laws may differ from yours. By using Abbelo, you agree that your data can be sent and used this way.

We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect data, but cannot guarantee complete security. If your account may be compromised, change your password and contact support@abbelo.com.

We will notify you by email or in the app before material changes take effect.
