Abbelo is run by Abbelo LLC, a company based in Arizona.
This policy explains the information Abbelo handles for accounts, text chat with Abbelo, Notes, Programs, saved progress, profiles, settings, and Pro billing.
When you create or use an account, we receive account details such as your email address, name, user ID, and the basic profile details provided by a supported sign-in provider.
You may also add profile information and change supported account settings. The fields shown in the app tell you what information is optional.
We save the text you send to Abbelo and the responses it returns so the conversation can work and remain available to you.
We also save Notes you create, your Program enrollments and progress, and profile or settings changes you make. If you use Pro billing, we save the Stripe customer, checkout, Price, and subscription IDs, your billing choice, subscription status, and signed event records needed to keep access correct. Stripe handles your payment details. Abbelo does not store your full card number.
Records created by an earlier version of Abbelo may remain where we need them for security, support, legal, or recordkeeping reasons.
When you visit Abbelo, we automatically receive some basic technical information from your browser or phone: your IP address, the browser or app you're using, your language, the page or link you came from, and which pages you opened inside Abbelo.
We use this to keep the app secure, to detect and stop people who break the rules or abuse the service, and to understand how the app is actually being used so we can improve it.
We also store a small amount of information in your browser so that you stay signed in between visits and your settings stick. If you clear your browser data, you'll be signed out and those settings will reset to their defaults.
We use this information to sign you in, provide text chat, save and show Notes, show Programs and progress, maintain profiles and settings, run Pro billing, keep paid access correct, keep the service secure, troubleshoot problems, and improve the product.
We don't use your information for unrelated advertising, and we don't build profiles of you to sell to anyone.
To generate an Abbelo chat response, we send your message and the context needed for that request to an AI provider. The provider processes that information to return the response.
AI responses can be wrong or incomplete. Do not put information in chat that you do not want processed for this purpose.
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide and secure the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain necessary records. How long that is depends on the type of information and why we have it.
Information may remain in backups for a limited period after it is removed from active systems. We may keep records longer when law, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or a dispute requires it.
You can review and change the profile and settings fields that the current app supports.
Full self-service export and account deletion are unavailable during the backend reset. Email support@abbelo.com to request access, correction, export, or deletion. We will handle requests as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another place with privacy laws, you have additional rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or object to how we use your information. Email us to exercise any of these, and we'll respond within the time the law allows.
Our primary servers are in the United States.
If you use Abbelo from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, and in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your own.
By using Abbelo, you consent to this transfer and processing.
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information, including encrypted network connections and access controls.
No system is perfectly secure. If you think someone has gained access to your account, change your password and email us.
We may update this page as the app evolves and as the law changes.
When we make a significant change, we'll email you or post a notice inside the app before it takes effect, so you have a chance to review it.
